• Field Development Plans (FDPs) comprising of 14 Fields namely Mangla, Aishwariya, Saraswati, Rageshwari, Raag S-1, Bhagyam, NE, NI, Gudha, Kameshwari, Vandana, S-1, S-3, ABH-1 & Rageshwari Deep Gas approved by MoP&NG, Government of India.
• Commercial Production of Crude Oil has commenced w.e.f 29.08.2009 from Mangla Field. Presently, production @ 1,60,000-1,65,000 bbls/day is in progress from Mangla, Bhagyam, Aishwariya, Saraswati, Raageshwari Oil, Shakti, ABH, Guda, NE, NI, Raag Deep Gas, KW-2, Guda S-7 & Vandana.
Development of Heavy Oil Resource in Rajasthan by Oil India Ltd
• Geological, reservoir & basin modeling studies completed through PDVSA Company of Venezuela.
• One Pilot well spud and drilled upto the depth of 856 mts to ascertain the producibility of Heavy Oil.
• Trial production of Heavy Oil conducted in 2009 with the recovery of 64 MT of heavy oil and it will further be resumed through suitable EOR technique, which may lead to commercial production after proving its producibility.
• OIL has planned for drilling of 3 more pilot wells in 1 -2 years.
Exploitation of Natural Gas Resources of Jaisalmer Basin & Barmer-Sanchore Basin
• Presently, 0.73 mmscmd natural gas is being produced from Jaisalmer Basin by Oil India & ONGC. However, optimum production of lean gas reserves is anticipated by work-over of wells or connecting additional wells or by blending with high calorific gas from Jaisalmer Basin.
• Lean gas reserves could be utilized by blending with rich gas from 4 PML areas by ONGCL namely Manhera Tibba, Bakriwala, Ghotaru (LG) & Chinnewala Tibba (RG) for generation of power and other industrial use. ONGCL had a tie-up with M/s Deep Industries Ltd. (DIL) to develop Ghotaru & Bakriwala area.
• Focus Energy has entered into an agreement with GAIL (India) Ltd and Rajasthan Rajya Vidhyut Utpadan Nigam (RRVUN) for supply of Natural Gas to 110 MW Ramgarh Power Plant and additional unit of 160 MW. Presently, about 0.8 MMSCMD natural gas is being produced from SGL Field (Shahgarh area) for existing units (110 MW + 160 MW) of Ramgarh Power Plant.
• Production of commercial gas is initiated from Raageshwari Field of Barmer - Sanchore Basin by Cairn India, besides gas is being utilized for internal crude oil production operations and transportation. The commercial gas is being produced about 0.8MMSCMD and transported through Salaya- Barmer pipeline to Bhogat terminal for off-take to supply GNFC & KRIBHCO.
• Palanpur-Pali and Barmer- Pali pipeline section of GiGL’s Mehsana- Bhatinda Natural Gas pipeline is under construction for the supply of Natural gas to Palanpur Gas Grid in 1st phase and also for development of CGD network enroute to this pipeline and further connecting to smart cities such as Ajmer & Jaipur.
